Our client is a large successful international bank, devoting a long history of success across the global market, that have offices based in the City.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work together with stakeholders from business, technology and compliance teams to develop and improve the bank’s transaction reporting framework, policies and procedures
Liaise between business and technical teams, supporting translation of business and regulatory requirements into detailed technical requirements for technology teams
Identify and suggest improvements to internal systems impacting reporting
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and liaise with third parties/vendors to support system development, improvement, testing, change management, raising and tracking issues
Perform daily regulatory transaction reporting activities under MiFID II, EMIR and other regulations where applicable
Monitoring reports, remediate errors and exceptions by investigating, correcting and resubmitting erroneous reports
Prepare management information
Implement other tasks required by team leader or Head of Middle Office in risk control and business supports in financial market area.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A university degree or above (Banking, Finance, or relevant)
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Capital markets, clearing and settlement and other relevant
Understanding of financial instruments in wholesale markets including FICC
Excellent regulatory reporting (transaction reporting) knowledge, EMIR, MiFID, SFTR, etc. – the data, architectures and flows
Knowledge and experience in IT implementation and transaction reporting would be preferable
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to explain complex business and / or technical concepts to stakeholders across a wide spectrum of business areas
Advanced excel and coding skill, such as VBA, Macros (preferable)
