Enterprise Risk Analyst

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a leading bank, offering a comprehensive range of banking services, including corporate, investment, and retail banking.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in all prudential aspects of the bank.
• Support the integration of the bank’s risk management framework into business operations and processes.
• Enhance the controls environment and practices, including both preventative and detective controls.
• Report concerns about practices, behaviours, and potential breaches of credit and market risk limits, policies, and guidelines to the Enterprise Risk Lead and CRO.
• Assist in producing key regulatory documents, including the ILAAP, ICAAP, Recovery Plan, and RAS.
• Provide forecasts and unique insights to support business and risk decision-making.
• Oversee the treasury collateral management process.
• Improve mathematical models and conduct analysis on various risk areas.
• Oversee and validate risk-related models, spreadsheets, and macros, such as Funds Transfer Pricing, cash flow forecasting, and liquidity models.
• Enhance the quality, timeliness, and accuracy of risk-related management information (MI) to support strategic decision-making and risk management practices.
• Support the production and delivery of risk-related reports for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board, Credit Risk Committee, Credit Approval Committee, ALCO, regulators, and credit rating agencies.
• Drive process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency of report production.
• Assist Credit Administration with various daily tasks.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• University degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., mathematics, accounting, economics, computer science, engineering etc.);
• MS Office suite, including Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and experience in programming language is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and experience of universal banking products.
