Our client is leading International bank based in the City.
Complete credit applications, in line with policy & procedures. It is expected that the role holder will work closely with the front office and other credit managers. These will often involve complex transactions and will require the role holder to consider alternative structures. The role holder will be expected to discuss these with Senior Management, advising on key material risks with a firm recommendation.
The role will focus on FI risk but additional experience to corporate risk or real estate would be advantage. They will be expected to provide support by challenging, advising and giving opinions to protect the Bank from losses arising from credit, political, market and operational risk
Mentoring/coaching junior analysts
Adopt ad hoc projects from time to time
Support other functions within the team.
Adopt credit authority
Superior FI credit application and analytical skills
Exposure to Emerging Markets in Africa and Middle East would be an added advantage.
Relevant experience in a similar role, with experience in structuring and mitigated risk in complex transactions. Previous lending authority would be an advantage.
Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong working relationships
Financial Degree, ACIB or equivalent preferred.
French speaker desirable
