Financial Risk Manager

THE COMPANY:

Our client is an international bank covering wholesale and trade finance activities

THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Chief Risk Officer in developing Risk Management Framework
• Maintain Risk Register
• Monitor key risk indicators and conduct trend analysis
• Prepare Risk Report and other Risk Committee papers
• Provide advice and guidance to other departments on risk management issues with aim to help mitigate risk and enhance control environment
• Annual review of certain policy documents including Credit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Outsourcing and Climate Change
• Lead resource in preparation of annual ILAAP
• Lead resource in preparation of annual Recovery Plan
• Co-ordinate annual review of Business Continuity Plan

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Must be able to work 5 days onsite in London per week
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of working in Second Line of Defence Enterprise Risk Department in a Bank
• Experience of working in International Banking in London
• Good understanding of risk factors in Banking, including operational and financial risks
• Good understanding of UK regulatory requirements
• Competent user of Word, Excel and PowerPoint or similar packages
• Knowledge of AS400 system / Equation
• Understanding of trade finance
