Our client, a boutique asset manager with a range of actively managed funds based in London is looking for someone to join the Operational Risk team.
Responsibilities
Assist the Global CCO to support with the overall risk management of the Group.
Ensure efficient operational Risk Controls and framework are established and adhered to by the business lines. Understand and document the organization’s risk appetite, risk tolerance, and risk management philosophy
Undertake day-to-day control testing and monitoring of the risk profile and reporting findings and the effectiveness of controls in mitigating identified risks to the appropriate committees.
Develop, implement, and maintain an operational risk management framework that is aligned with the organization’s business strategy
Monitor progress and resolution of outstanding internal audit and operational risk action points on a regular basis
Keep abreast of new and emerging risks, and their potential impact on the organization, maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to operational risk management
Provide quality assurance on Operational risk to Senior Management through periodic reporting
Participate in audits and examinations conducted by regulators and other external parties
Experience
University Degree or extensive work experience gained within a financial service institution.
